John Grant, CEO of Western Alzheimer's officially raised the Green Flag
at our school on Fri. 6th June at 2pm.
He was assisted by Colm Boyle, a past pupil and member of the Mayo Senior Football Panel,
Fr. Martin O'Connor, who blessed the flag, Principal Mary Glynn and two children
Emily Rattigan and Pádraic Mangan to represent the large committee.


We achieved this reward by reducing the waste sent to landfill by 75%
We sorted everything properly and recycled as much as we could.
We got compost bins for our fruit skins etc.

Afterwards the Parents Association hosted a party for everyone.
We had lots of food and a disco outdoors.
