Davitts Minor Team won the County Final on Sunday 16th October '11

We were all delighted when some of our past pupils came to visit our school
and brought the cup with them.

Most of us were in Castlebar that day to cheer them on
and we gave them a big Hip, Hip, Hoorah! in school today.

They actually brought 3 silver cups that they had won and told us all about them.
They won the South Mayo Final cup and a huge cup called the Tierney Cup also.

We would like to be as good as them when we grow up.

 

The teachers are very proud of our past pupils.
These are the same footballers who won the county Cumann na mBunscol final
when they were pupils in Ballindine N.S.

Mr. O'Brien congratulated them and said their talent showed all through the years.
