Ballindine N.S. is a co-educational, Catholic, primary school in Co. Mayo.
It is under the patronage of the Archbishop of Tuam. We are a 6 Teacher school including the Principal,
Learning Support Teacher and a shared Traveller Resource Teacher.

We aim to provide a caring, happy and secure learning environment in which each child will be enabled to develop his/her potential to the full. This educational process is seen as involving partnerships of parents, teachers, Board of Management and the Christian and wider
community helping the child to grow as a well-balanced person.

Ballindine N.S. will endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community, to imbue in the pupils respect for people
and property and to encourage in them the idea of being responsible.

Ballindine N.S. will encourage the involvement of parents and communicate frequently with parents in a spirit of cooperation.
Students are treated with respect and each student is encouraged to seek academic excellence to the fullest extent of his/her ability.
While Ballindine N.S. is a school with a Catholic ethos, it also has due recognition for all other religions.

Ballindine N.S. will promote gender equity amongst the teachers and pupils.

The school motto is: “Mol an Óige”
